Assistant Provost for Administration Swarthmore
The Office of the Provost and Dean of the Faculty seeks a seasoned professional academic administrator to support the overall operations of the academic portfolio. Reporting to the Associate Provost for Administration, the Assistant Provost for Administration serves as a critical resource to the Provost’s Office, the academic community, and the broader administrative offices of the College. Working in a demanding, fast-paced, and nuanced environment, this position interfaces daily with key constituents across the college, including senior administrators, faculty, staff, and students to assure smooth operations of the academic area and its touchpoints with the broader administrative infrastructure of the College. As a strategic consultant to faculty and staff, this newly reimagined position serves as a critical touchpoint for the Provost’s Office and the broader campus community, serving both the academic affairs needs of the office, but also serving as a critical liaison for other offices and initiatives at the College. In addition, the position also supports the overall operations of the Provost’s Office and the academic area in accordance with trends both internal and external to the College, and conducts research for special projects as needed.

Assoc. Director, Athletics Swarthmore
Associate Director of Athletics: 12 month full-time Staff. Swarthmore College, a member of the NCAA Division III and the Centennial Conference invites applications for the position of Associate Director of Athletics. Originally established with a NCAA Division III Strategic Alliance Matching Grant, the Associate Director supports the operation of Swarthmore’s department of athletics and physical ed. The successful candidate will provide administrative and management support for the college’s intercollegiate, intramural, recreation, and club sports program. May serve as primary report for internal operations, strength and conditioning, business operations, sports medicine, Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and athletics communications, or any combination. The candidate will be responsible for devising and implementing NCAA mandated programming, as well as conference and institutional projects. The AD will serve as the Title IX and diversity and inclusion coordinator and will serve as a campus Title IX Deputy. Will attend campus, conference and national meetings and conventions, will act on the Director’s behalf, when necessary, and will serve on committees, when appropriate. May serve as Senior Woman Administrator. Responsibilities are performed with autonomy and require involvement with students, faculty and staff members. The candidate will be proficient with program management, planning and scheduling and should be highly organized. Bachelor’s degree in sports management or related field required, Master’s degree preferred. Food Runner/Server Swarthmore
The Food Runner/Line Server performs all duties related to customer service including greeting customers, answering questions about menu items, reviewing menu management sheets prior to the meal and answering related customer questions. Serves proper portion size as directed by sous chef or lead cook. Refills, cleans and sanitizes serving lines throughout the meal period.

Temporary On-Call Production Technician (Recruitment Only) Swarthmore
Swarthmore College, a highly selective liberal arts college, is located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The Lang Performing Arts Center (LPAC) integrates the arts into Swarthmore’s curriculum. The space houses many facilities which cater to the needs of the college’s artistic spectrum. The LPAC is versatile in its function: rehearsals, gallery installations, readings, film screenings, classes and performances are all simultaneously hosted within the building, making it a gravitational hub of campus activity. Under supervision, the On-Call Production Technician performs tasks for a variety of programs and events. This person may assist in the load-in, running, and production for performances in the LPAC.
EVS Technician Part Time Temporary (Recruitment Only) Swarthmore
The part time temporary EVS Technician reports to a shift supervisor and provides services to ensure a clean and environmentally healthy campus. Tasks performed include: daily trash removal, cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures and furniture, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning both carpeted and non-carpeted floors and mats, maintaining bathroom paper and other supplies, and other duties as assigned. This position requires scheduling flexibility with the ability to report to work when called upon. Where possible a schedule will be provided in advance. Applicants currently employed by other organizations will be considered based on ability to meet the flexibility requirements and on call procedures.
