Administrative Assistant II Swarthmore
The Film & Media Studies department is seeking an Administrative Assistant who will be an enthusiastic team player providing administrative and program support for faculty and students in our growing department, with the potential to shape our dynamic program as we move into a planned new facility. The successful candidate will have a background in the field, an interest in arts administration, and a desire to foster and maintain strong ties across the campus community. Responsibilities include maintaining course catalog, department budget, website, student records, class and event scheduling, facilitating and publicizing events (such as artist visits, screenings, and the annual TriCo Film Festival), supervising student workers, and working with the chair on day-to-day administration of the department.
Associate Director, Center for Innovation and Leadership (CIL) Swarthmore
The Associate Director assists in all aspects of the Center for Innovation and Leadership in event management, direction, and engagement with students and the campus community. They will actively seek out and maintain an understanding of the current environment and best practices surrounding creativity and design, student leadership development, and entrepreneurial processes. The Associate Director is responsible for the CIL student Intern program, communication and marketing efforts in the CIL, and assessment and evaluations of programming.
Production Stage Manager Swarthmore
The Production Stage Manager provides logistical and supervisory expertise in supporting productions/performances, conferences, events, rentals, and other activities taking place in the Performing Arts Center. This position works 40 hours per week, requires the ability to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime hours as needed. Tasks performed with a great deal of independence include: recruit, manage and supervise a staff of professional temporary assistant stage managers and stage crew; serve as Stage Manager for major events in Pearson-Hall Theatre; prepare production paperwork for faculty, student, rental projects, and visiting artists. Assign tasks to and directly supervise 10-15 student workers. Maintain general office and stage supplies and provide judgment on replacements; work as a part of the Production Team of Lang Performing Arts Center communication task force. This position works 40 hours per week, requires the ability to work a flexible schedule which includes, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime hours as needed.
Inventory Control Coordinator Swarthmore
The Inventory Control Coordinator (ICC) is the face of the Facilities Service Window, providing a welcome greeting, direction, and service to visitors, including but not limited to students, faculty, staff, vendors, and contractors. The role of the ICC is to enable facilities field personnel to perform repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely way by managing the service building supply chain and inventory. The ICC will work closely with office administration and management teams for Maintenance, Environmental Services, Grounds, and Purchasing to ensure material deliveries are accurate, are being directed to the correct location, and that material standards are met and recorded in the work management database. The ICC has direct control and responsibility for the stockroom, inventory counts, and tool cribs. This position is responsible for purchasing supplies for all facilities groups, including but not limited to vendor follow-up, obtaining quotations, purchase order creation, verifying receipt of materials and services, and obtaining appropriate approval for payment.
Assistant Director, Athletic Communications Swarthmore
A member of the NCAA Division III and the Centennial Conference. The Assistant Director of Athletic Communications assists with administering and coordinating all aspects of the communications program for all intercollegiate varsity sports, supports institutional branding and positioning efforts, and manages the Athletic Communications department. The Assistant Director of Athletic Communications assists with the day-to-day operations of the athletic communications office and supervises student workers.

Sr. Immigration Specialist Swarthmore
The position, which reports to the Assistant Dean and Director of International Student Programs and provides direct support and consultation to the Office of the Provost, is responsible for stewarding a comprehensive international student and scholars program, with special focus in supporting immigration compliance requirements. Swarthmore College is authorized by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the US Department of State (DOS) to issue non-immigrant visa documentation. The Senior Immigration Specialist is responsible for oversight of all Swarthmore College J1 and F1 initial visas and STEM related requests, DACA/Undocumented students, and works in consultation with immigration counsel to support non-immigrant work visas. In the performance of their duties the Senior Immigration Specialist maintains communications with key campus partners, such as HR, the Provost’s office, and the Office of General Counsel.
Digital Scholarship Librarian Swarthmore
The Digital Scholarship Librarian provides strategic leadership for Digital Scholarship across all disciplines. Experienced with digital pedagogy and technology, they are responsible for building and sustaining an infrastructure for a dynamic digital scholarship program and collaborating with faculty, students, and campus partners. They facilitate the successful adoption and application of digital approaches to teaching, learning, and research, develop sustainable and scalable digital resources, and explore emerging and existing technologies which enable the use of digital content. They provide program oversight and manage a portfolio of digital scholarship projects in close collaboration with library colleagues, ITS academic technologists and TriCollege partners.
Community Resource Officer, Patrol Swarthmore
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is currently accepting applications for the position of Patrol/Communication Officer. Public Safety Officers (PSO/PSO's) are an integral part of the support and resource network on campus. Associate Director, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Swarthmore

EVS Technician Part Time Temporary Swarthmore
The part time temporary EVS Technician reports to a shift supervisor and provides services to ensure a clean and environmentally healthy campus. Tasks performed include: daily trash removal, cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures and furniture, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning both carpeted and non-carpeted floors and mats, maintaining bathroom paper and other supplies, and other duties as assigned. This position requires scheduling flexibility with the ability to report to work when called upon. Where possible a schedule will be provided in advance. Post Doctoral Fellow, Neurobiology Swarthmore
The Biology department at Swarthmore College is searching for a highly motivated researcher with excellent communication skills who is passionate about both research and teaching. We study how the brain controls behavior during development and in response to environmental toxicants and drugs, using freshwater planarians as a model system. We combine molecular techniques such as RNAi, qPCR, Next-Gen sequencing and computational neuroethology to elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying specific behaviors. Graduate Research Assistant Swarthmore
The Community, School, College Partnership (CSCP) Project at Swarthmore College is currently seeking one or two graduate-level students to serve as research assistants on the Cultivating Community Together Study (CCT) between February 2022 and June 2023. Under the direction of Dr. Edwin Mayorga, CCT is a qualitative and historical study of community and school partnerships in Philadelphia schools past and present. We are developing and using a queer, intersectional abolitionist framework to examine various models of community and school partnerships and the history of Black and other POC-led education movements in Philadelphia with the intention of strengthening the educational experiences for all students, families and educators in Philadelphia today, and into the future.
Associate Director, Individual Giving Swarthmore
The Associate Director of Individual Giving will be responsible for the identification, engagement, and solicitation of Swarthmore alumni, parents, and friends having the capacity to make outright, blended, and planned gifts (including documented estate commitments) of $100,000 or larger to the College. Utilizing a donor-centric, philanthropic planning approach, they will manage the College’s relationships with a portfolio of 60-80 major gift and gift planning prospects, traveling regularly and extensively in order to discharge these responsibilities.
