The 425‐acre campus is a designated arboretum, complete with gardens, rolling lawns, a creek, wooded hills, and hiking trails in the Crum Woods.

The Scott Arboretum Educations Program Internship offers unique work experience in a campus arboretum well-suited to an individual interested in a career in public horticulture. The intern has opportunities to meet and work with other professionals in the Philadelphia region, an area rich in public gardens, and to attend educational events at other institutions.

Essential Responsibilities:
Work activities include assisting the Education Programs Coordinator with educational programming, and the Communications and Volunteer Programs Coordinator with marketing, interpretation, promotion and working with volunteers

Required Qualifications:
Good communications skills, an attention to details, knowledge of pertinent technology and computer programs, interest in working with the public and volunteers. Individuals must be willing to work some weekends and evenings. An interest in public horticulture and public service is important.
