Assistant/Associate Director, Individual Giving Swarthmore
The Assistant Director of Individual Giving will be responsible for the identification, engagement, and solicitation of Swarthmore alumni, parents, and friends having the capacity to make outright, blended, and planned gifts (including documented estate commitments) of $100,000+ the College. They will manage the College’s relationships with a portfolio of 125-150 major gift and gift planning prospects, traveling regularly and extensively in order to discharge these responsibilities. They will be responsible for initiating regional strategies that support identification and engagement of donor prospects and volunteers, and for building professional relationships within College Advancement, in the campus community, and in professional networks as appropriate.
Associate Director, Gift Planning Swarthmore
The Associate Director of Gift Planning serves as an integral member of the planned giving staff, advising colleagues on structuring deferred gift plans and philanthropic strategies for donors, and delivering ongoing planned giving training for the division. They will assist the division as a subject matter expert and thought leader for planned giving. The Associate Director will also be responsible for the identification, engagement, and solicitation of Swarthmore alumni, parents, and friends who have the capacity to make outright, blended, and planned gifts (including documented estate commitments) of $100,000 or larger to the College. Utilizing a donor-centric, philanthropic planning approach, they will manage the College’s relationships with a portfolio of 75-100 leadership giving and gift planning prospects, traveling regularly and extensively in order to discharge these responsibilities. They will be responsible for building professional relationships within College Advancement, in the campus community, and in professional networks as appropriate.
Associate Director, Family Philanthrophy Swarthmore
The Associate Director of Individual Giving will be responsible for the identification, engagement, and solicitation of Swarthmore parents and families having the capacity to make outright, blended, and planned gifts (including documented estate commitments) of $100,000+ the College. They will manage the College’s relationships with a portfolio of 125-150 major gift prospects, traveling regularly and extensively in order to discharge these responsibilities. The Associate Director will partner with the Senior Officer, Family & International Philanthropy to shape and implement programmatic and engagement strategies for parents and family, as well as be responsible for initiating regional strategies that support identification and engagement of donor prospects and volunteers. They will also be responsible for building professional relationships within College Advancement, in the campus community, and in professional networks as appropriate.
