Marketing & Engagement Coordinator Swarthmore
This position will work on projects to raise the department's visibility and recognition of its mission, offerings and accomplishments and track career services engagement trends across campus constituents. With an emphasis on inclusivity, this role will look to showcase diverse narratives, pathways, and identities throughout its messaging. Reporting to the Associate Director, Technology & Assessment with additional oversight from the Senior Associate Director, this position is responsible for creating and managing content across multiple platforms coordinating program calendars and website maintenance projects; and assisting in the creation of multimedia projects. This role will collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the institution, as well as with students, alumni and employers in carrying out communications plans. The person in this role will be responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of two interns who update and maintain social media and the website: (1) Social Media Intern and (2), Career Services Website Intern.
Costume Shop Manager Swarthmore
Swarthmore College has an immediate opening for a Costume Shop Manager. The Costume Shop Manager has responsibility for oversight and management of all support for the operation of the Costume Shop for performances by the Theater Program, the Dance Program, and approved student organizations. This includes working with Theater and Dance faculty and student groups to provide costume and staffing support for productions as well as training and hiring of student workers for costume construction and wardrobe crew. The Costume Shop Manager is responsible for oversight and maintenance of equipment and inventory of the Costume Shop, coordination of stock items, and rentals. The Costume Shop Manager is expected to construct costumes for the Theater and Dance programs as needed, supervise the rental, construction, and shopping for costumes; the acquisition of needed materials and stock for shop operations; and any necessary alterations for productions by the Theater Department, Dance Program, and student organizations in collaboration with the faculty or student designers and directors involved.

As a member of the Dining Services department, the Culinary Lead Baker will oversee the day to day operations for a specific function within dining services. Associate Residential Dining Manager Swarthmore
The Associate Residential Manager assists the Residential Manager in all aspects of managing all service and personnel associated with the front facing operations of the dining hall. Assist with recruiting, hiring, scheduling, evaluating and training all front of house staff. Provide to the dining program outstanding customer service. Assisting with the development of hourly staff schedules. Be the main point of contact for the front of the house operations when the residential Manager is not on site. Be sure proper inventory is maintained at all times in order that the lines are outfitted correctly. Provide the leadership and coaching and training necessary for all staff members. Work with students who have documented food allergens to ensure they have access to nutritional foods related to their food allergies or intolerance. Work in partnership with the Executive Chef on dessert ideas and implementation for the Daily Kneads platform. Work with the Executive Chef to ensure the Allergen Station menus are meeting requirements for the top allergens and offering a varied menu to meet the needs that students require. Work in partnership with the Student Disabilities Office in communicating and setting expectations with students who identify with special food intolerance and allergies.

The Grounds Department of Swarthmore College is seeking one Gardener who based on qualifications will be hired into either a level I or level II position. The Gardner (I/II) provides timely and reliable support for the maintenance of the Scott Arboretum’s plant collections and landscaped areas, and performs other campus grounds keeping duties to maintain and keep safe the paths, roads, turf areas, fields, and additional properties of the College. Tasks performed include: maintaining plant collections and garden areas by performing timely planting, weeding, mulching, and other horticultural duties; maintaining safety and aesthetic aspects of the campus, including trash, leaf and snow removal, and other grounds keeping duties; operating hand and power gardening tools and equipment safely and proficiently.
