Animal Care Specialist Swarthmore
The Animal Care Specialist will be responsible for ensuring good husbandry and upkeep of various vertebrate and invertebrate species within their respective labs in Swarthmore College’s Biology department. The Animal Care Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring animal welfare and compliance with institutional animal care and use policies, as well as federal laws.
Director, Athletic Communications Swarthmore
The Director of Athletic Communications oversees the day-to-day operations of the athletic communications office and supervises assistant/s and student workers. The Director of Athletic Communications administers and coordinates all aspects of the sports information program for all intercollegiate varsity sports, supports institutional branding and positioning efforts, and supervises and manages the Athletic Communications department (including an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications and student workers). Temporary On-Call Production Technician Swarthmore
Swarthmore College, a highly selective liberal arts college, is located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The Lang Performing Arts Center (LPAC) integrates the arts into Swarthmore’s curriculum. The space houses many facilities which cater to the needs of the college’s artistic spectrum. The LPAC is versatile in its function: rehearsals, gallery installations, readings, film screenings, classes and performances are all simultaneously hosted within the building, making it a gravitational hub of campus activity. Under supervision, the On-Call Production Technician performs tasks for a variety of programs and events. This person may assist in the load-in, running, and production for performances in the LPAC.

The part time temporary EVS Technician reports to a shift supervisor and provides services to ensure a clean and environmentally healthy campus. Tasks performed include: daily trash removal, cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures and furniture, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning both carpeted and non-carpeted floors and mats, maintaining bathroom paper and other supplies, and other duties as assigned. This position requires scheduling flexibility with the ability to report to work when called upon. Where possible a schedule will be provided in advance. Applicants currently employed by other organizations will be considered based on ability to meet the flexibility requirements and on call procedures.
