Dining Services at Swarthmore College is currently accepting applications for Part Time Positions for within the Dining Services program.  We are continually hiring for cooks, line-servers, utility, prep workers, cashiers, and many other positions within the department. All dining positions start at a minimum of $12 an hour.

Job Summary

Each position within the dining program will have different responsibilities based on their position, but will be expected to provide timely and reliable support for the food preparation, stocking, customer service, and cleaning functions for Swarthmore Colleges dining program.  Each dining team member will ensure that work towards the goals and mission of the dining program.  All positions will help to ensure that the dining program offers a clean environment, that meals are served in a timely manner, and that we provide excellence in customer service to our guests. All dining team members are expected to interact with customers, co-workers, and supervisors as well as work effectively, both independently and as a team member.

The position requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing on your feet for extended periods of time.

Qualified candidates must possess high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in customer service, service, kitchen experience, hospitality, or a closely related field.  Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal instruction. Must be flexible to work as needed during the day, nights, and weekends or as needed.
